Yener's House

Yener's House

Yener, his wife, and three children lived in a one-room home with a dirt floor and discarded metal sheeting for walls. The sloping lot was somewhat difficult to plan around and access. Using a "stepped" design, NFI constructed a secure and sturdy home for Yener and his family. Water is only available for a few hours, once each week, when the public utility activates the water for this area of the city. So, a water storage system was incorporated into the project to help the family with this other basic need.
