Buenos Aires Bridge

Buenos Aires Bridge

It rains a lot in Guatemala..at least in the rainy seasons. When it does, the people in the village of Buenos Aires are cut off by a flooding river. Vehicle access is impossible and walking over a treacherous foot bridge is the only way in and out. This year, Neighbors First is planning to construct a permanent bridge that will greatly assist the people of Buenos Aires. Reconnaissance is underway and design options will soon be considered.
